| Here are photographs of Dr Ron Shefdnore, my patient. Dr Shefdnore is a Dentist that preforms Cosmetic Dental Proceedures. In the before picture he is shown after whitening his teeth with home trays for 6 weeks, looks ok. The After picture shows Dr. Shefdnore after I placed 10 porcelain veneers on his front teeth. To enhance his smile I modified the shape of his teeth with my artistic talents. |

Case Study: Instant Orthodontics
A Large Dental Supply Company has coined a new name for Veneers: "Lumineers", which is a good quality porcelain veneer made by a
large corporate lab in California. This large dental lab corporation has a huge marketing budget and markets direct to the
public. They have also come up with the term "Instant Orthodontics". Instant Orthodontics and Lumineers are not as new as the
advertisements may lead you to believe. Dr. Page has been correcting crooked teeth in as little as two weeks without braces
for over 20 years. In some cases no grinding of your sensitive tooth structure is necessary. Dr. Page had this done to his
own lower teeth (see before and after pictures). Making a porcelain veneer, like a Lumineer or other lab made porcelain veneer,
is a very artistic process and some lab technicians are better than others. The corporate labs have good technicians, but
some dentists who have done many veneers for decades are likely to have found a talented and artistic lab tech that creates a
beautiful, strong and natural looking veneer. Dr. Page has been working with his lab tech for decades and together they are

Case Study: Reconstruction with Veneers "Face Lift"
This Executive presented with dark short teeth and a closed bite that made her face look squashed and wide. Dr. Page has over 20 years experience in Full Mouth Reconstruction and has done hundreds of Full Mouth Reconstructive cases including Implants with Natural looking porcelains. This case is an example of reconstruction of the bite without implants. The teeth were not decayed, the patient was born with short teeth that did not show when she smiled. Case Study: Metal Crowns/Caps vs. porcelain Crowns/Caps
Since the 1950s Dentists have been making crowns with a metal substructure or foundation. Now the metal has been replaced with porcelain fibers or Zirconia. These crowns are strong and covered by insurance the same as the metal crowns. The older style metal crowns tend to look gray with black or gray at the gum line. With modern porcelain crowns there is no metal to look gray, the new porcelain crowns are beautiful and strong. Case Study: Back teeth metal vs porcelain
Back in about 1820 the silver filling technology was developed. Today there is some disappointment when the Dentist puts a filling in your mouth that looks black or silver. | This was my first patient to pick shade 0. Shades range from 00 (whitest) to 10 (darkest). I was cautious when he requested that shade five years ago, but now I encourage it. They look extremely natural. With all the whitening being done on Natural Teeth white veneers do not stand out as fake. |

| Veneers allow a patient to change the color and shape of their teeth permanently, in 2 or 3 visits. This was the first patient of mine that chose the whitest shade "00", that is whiter than shade 1. There is also opaaque 00, but that looks a bit artificial. |
